(Manila, Philippines, July 14, 2008) – Business process outsourcing (BPO) providers Access Worldwide Philippines and Incoho have engaged the services of human resources solutions company ExcelAsia for its extensive range of human resource (HR) solutions.
Access Worldwide Philippines
Access Worldwide Philippines Inc. is a subsidiary of Virginia-based Access Worldwide. The company provides sales and marketing support services for the information and communications technology industry, including inbound and outbound customer service support. The company delivers these services for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications. It has two communication centers in the Philippines.
An Access Worldwide executive said the company engaged ExcelAsia in May for manpower support requirements, including specialized training services. The company now also relies on ExcelAsia for agent-level hiring, said Marie Frances Gan, AWWC Philippines human resource officer for people acquisition.
Gan lauded ExcelAsia’s HR solutions. “ExcelAsia has been providing us with good candidates and we hope to make this partnership last through constant communication and regular service updates,” Gan said.
Incoho
Incoho Inc. is a Chicago-based contact center and full-service solutions provider of commercial collections, business-to-business demand generation and research services. The company engaged ExcelAsia for sourcing services earlier this month to recruit qualified call center agents.
In response to the increasing number of global clients engaging ExcelAsia for its HR solution requirements, the company is enhancing infrastructure and training curricula, said Annie Trillo, ExcelAsia vice president for training and recruitment and business development executive. “We continually work to enhance our infrastructure and training program delivery to assure that we deliver our services as committed. A good example is the number of computer stations we’ve added in our training centers to cater to our growing number of trainees.” Trillo said.
‘Near-hires’
Aside from providing sourcing and recruitment services, ExcelAsia also conducts training to candidates who demonstrate some skills essential to BPO and contact center jobs, but need further training, at no cost to the candidates. Called “near-hires,” these aspiring contact center workers are immersed in communications skills and customer service training in a program made possible by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s Training for Work Scholarship Program.
After the “near-hires” complete the training program, ExcelAsia endorses the trainees to their clients. On the average, ExcelAsia makes 100 near-hire endorsements monthly to its BPO clients.
